What Are You Sowing?

You have probably heard the saying, “you reap what you sow”.

If you are like me, you've probably only thought about this in terms of actions. Things like 'If you are nice to people, others will be nice to you.' Or 'if you are dishonest, someone will be dishonest with you'. How about 'judge not, lest you be judged'. Or 'Be gracious or generous to other people, and someone will treat you the same way'. The list could go on and on.

But have you ever thought about 'you reap what you sow', in terms of your attitudes and emotions?
Have you ever considered that whatever attitudes or emotions you are 'sowing', you will reap more of the same?

Let's say you find yourself worrying. According to the law of sowing and reaping, you will be reaping more things to worry about.

Angry? And choosing to stay angry? You are setting yourself up for more things to be angry about.

What you 'put out there', is what you'll attract more of. 'Like attracts like.'

So next time you find yourself in a negative attitude or emotion, ask yourself, “Do I want to receive more of the same?” If the answer is, “No”, then it's time to let it go, and start focusing on something positive.

Start thinking about what you want to be 'reaping'. Then start 'sowing the seeds' of what you want to 'reap', so you can achieve just that.

This is all part of 'creating the life you desire'.
